About Ella Hough

Ella Hough is a CPR and first aid trainer at Heart Restart, combining her healthcare knowledge, education experience, and passion for helping others develop confidence in emergency situations.

With a background in human physiological sciences and current postgraduate nursing studies, Ella brings a strong understanding of the human body, health, and patient care into her training. She is passionate about making CPR and first aid education accessible, practical, and empowering for everyone.

Healthcare Experience & Education

Ella completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Physiological Sciences before commencing a Master of Nursing Science at the University of Melbourne. Her academic background has provided her with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, healthcare principles, and evidence-based practice.

Since 2020, Ella has worked at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne across multiple departments. This experience has allowed her to develop strong communication skills, empathy, and an understanding of the importance of calm, effective responses in healthcare environments.

Outside of the hospital setting, Ella has extensive experience working with children and families through babysitting, nannying, and coaching netball and volleyball at club and school levels. These experiences have strengthened her ability to communicate clearly, support learners, and create a positive educational environment.
