Our Infant & Child First Aid Course is designed especially for parents, grandparents, carers, family members and anyone who loves and is responsible for the wellbeing of young children. Whether you are caring for your own little one, supporting a loved one, or looking to strengthen your skills for roles such as babysitting, this course provides essential knowledge and practical strategies to respond confidently and calmly in an emergency.

This course can be delivered and assessed either at your home, school, workplace, or community venue or you can come to us.

As part of your training, your skills and knowledge will be monitored through a mix of practical hands-on tasks, simulated emergency scenarios, and learning hurdles in your online learning.

To take part in this course, you'll need to be physically able to complete the practical activities—this includes performing 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor without stopping.

To complete the online/pre-course study, you will need access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection.

When you successfully complete this course, you will receive a certificate of attendance for: Infant and Child First Aid and Resuscitation. Heart Restart recommends, in line with the First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice and the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, that CPR skills are refreshed every 12 months.
